Talking Rocks
Led by Turkish producer Alptug Chavez, Talking Rocks draws as much on his Anatolian roots as on electronic, rock and psychedelic music. Analogue synthesisers, distorted guitars and deep grooves merge on stage into a vibrant, immersive experience. Following a debut EP released in 2023, Talking Rocks cemented their musical identity with the album Nihilistan, released in 2024 on Kanto Records. Now based in Germany, the producer previously co-founded electronica group Ikaru and has collaborated with Islandman, the Turkish act also supported by the Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation.
