Irresistible funk grooves and lyrics in Swiss German: this rare combination is the signature of young Zurich duo Migi & Rubén. Whether sung or rapped, their lyrics sit atop colourful productions that shift between electronic and vintage sounds, sun-drenched and twilight moods. Their aptly titled debut album, Bedroom Funk, was released in two parts: Side A in April 2025, followed by Side B in December, evoking both the listening experience of a vinyl record and the serial logic of streaming. On stage, the duo expands into a fully fledged band: seven musicians ready to break down the country’s linguistic boundaries.
