Amy Gadiaga
French double bassist, singer and composer based between London and Paris, Amy Gadiaga draws on the jazz tradition to shape her multilingual musical world. Dubbed the ‘princess of jazz’, she has attracted attention through her vibrant live performances and released two critically acclaimed EPs, All Black Everything and BabyGoated. In 2025, she was nominated for a MOBO Award in the ‘Best Jazz Act’ category. Supported by the Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation since her first performance at the MJAF Nights at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2024, she was invited to the Chinese edition of the Festival that same year, before joining the in-house band for the jam sessions the following summer.
