Nils Boyny

Nils Boyny performed last summer at the Montreux Jazz Festival as part of the nu-jazz trio Emile Londonien. The 28-year-old Frenchman studied classical piano as a teenager at the conservatory in Strasbourg and graduated in jazz piano in 2019. Nils is a member of several bands from the Strasbourg scene and the Omezis collective, including Emile Londonien but also Acousmatics (ambient, electronic jazz) and Cheap House (techno live band). He is also a producer, active in the hip hop and electronic scene under the moniker “Midva”.
