Louis Matute & Amine Mraihi

A longtime friend of the Festival and MJAF, guitarist Louis Matute’s career has flourished after three critically acclaimed albums and successful international tours. Amine Mraihi, a doctor and oud player from Tunisia, usually forms a duo with his brother Hamza, blending jazz and traditional music. This new encounter between Louis and Amine creates an acoustic sound where Latin and Oriental influences intertwine, inviting dreams, song, and dance. Together, they play, write, and improvise, drawing from each other’s artistic strengths.
