Swiss-Albanian singer Elina Duni and British guitarist Rob Luft met at the Montreux Jazz Academy in 2017. The duo regularly tours together in Europe and released the album Lost Ships in 2020. Elina Duni is a Swiss-Albanian singer. Having been signed to ECM Records since 2012, her hallmark combination of traditional Albanian folk songs and jazz has lead to worldwide critical acclaim. Rob Luft, one of the rising stars of London’s flourishing jazz scene, incorporates echoes of West African high-life and Celtic folk to his playing. Together, Elina and Rob take us on a journey through timeless folk songs which still resonate so truly today, as well as playing their co-written original material.
